Miner’s Cottage
Thousands of remnant miner’s cottages are scattered across the old goldfield districts of New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. Often sited on small allotments, these very basic, single-roomed timber framed cottages were originally built around the miner’s canvas tent to provide insulation and security.
